Fun with cakes and Treats

Samantha requested the Green Bay Packers Logo be put on her Bithday Cake.  Samantha and Daniel love to watch football together, especially the Packers...
Go Aaron Rodgers!

This was Samantha's 8th Birthday and Becky's 1st attempt decorating a cake with more than just happy birthday written on it.

Thanks to modern day technology, this is the only picture you can tell that the Packers Logo was done backwards.

Xandar really enjoys dinosaurs.  We wanted to do something special for him, on his cake for his 3rd Birthday.

We happened across this dinosaur set while doing some last minute Christmas shopping and knew we had what we wanted for Xandar's cake.
Needless to say, he loved it! The fist thing he did was take the Terradactyl off of its rock perch and put it in the frosting lake so it could have a bath.

Well, we all know that the Packers, Vikings (go Farve), nor the Broncos (like they had a chance) made it to the Super Bowl this year. But that didn't stop us from enjoying the Super Bowl with friends.  We decided to have some fun with Rice Crispies.

We made a football field by dying the Marshmellows green, and we made miniture footballs out of Coco Crispies.

We started of the evening wanting to see the Colts destroy the Saints (for taking out the Vikings...Go Farve!).  As the evening went on, and the game got better, and better, it was hard not to cheer for the Saints success.  All in all we had a really good time with friend, lots of food, a big TV, and Air Hockey.

I can fit...

She was at this all day, and finally...
She made it!!!

What a silly baby!

"You think I should get in this one too...I think its too big!"

Next...
"They'll never find me here!"

Busted!

Aren't I cute...
And adorable!

Kairi's Day

As is tradition with our kids 1st birthday's we baked Kairi a chocolate cake, stripped her down and waited for her to attack her cake. She kept pointing at it, but never put her hand in it, so Daniel tryed to help her by sticking her finger in the corner and tryed to put it in her mouth.  She wanted nothing to do with it.  Daniel then tryed to put her whole hand in the cake so she could see the chocolate.
She got really upset about this, so I grabbed a spoon.  She liked it at this point, but was still unwilling to put her hand in the cake...
So Skyler, Samanthta, and Xandar all grabbed spoons and started feeding her. Happy now, her hardest decision is which bite next!

Mom and I must have been on the same wave length in our shopping for Kairi, because we both got her the same type of stacking toy.

Kairi also recieved some new cute outfits,
a new blanket from Daniel's mom (Janis),

and a traditional favorite, (I know I had one of these when I was a child), stacking rings!

All I want for Christmas...

Sandy recently asked for pics of Skyler's missing teeth. He lost his first 2 teeth last week.Saturday Skyler convinced us to shave his head. It looked like so much fun that Daniel decided to do it too.

Our Little Streeker

Let me set the mood, its about 7:30, we had just finished Sunday dinner and we sent the kids to get ready for bed. Becky grabs Xandar, changes his diaper and puts him in sleeper PJ's. About half an hour later Becky and I were standing in the kitchen cleanin' up and planning Memorial day when Xandar walks into the Kitchen with us and is in only his diaper. He then commences to take off his diaper. Jokingly I open the back door and exclaim "run Xandar, RUN! Without skippin' a beat he bolts. That's when I grab the camera. I am able to capture 2 things on it you don't see every day, our carrot top streeking.......
And Becky running!
